Originally built in the 16th century, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste underwent significant structural changes in 1855. The estate was in the hands of Raymond Dupin between 1930 and 1978, after which it was purchased by the Borie family. Since then, the property has undergone several renovations. Located on Bordeaux's Left Bank, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is famous for being one of the most representative wines in the Pauillac appellation.

Tasting awards and medals

"The 2015 Grand-Puy-Lacoste is medium garnet-purple colored with a nose of red and black currants, cedar chest and roses with a touch of dusty earth. The medium-bodied mouth is chewy, with lively fruit and good balance."

J. Robinson:17+/20

Technicals

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon (74%), Merlot (23%), Cabernet franc (3%).
