Château d'Agassac Précision 2010 (ex-ch)

Château d'Agassac Précision 2010 (ex-ch)

$92.00

Château d’Agassac, the chateau’s first wine, is made from the estate’s oldest vines and best deep gravel terroirs. The Cuvée Précision is the purest expression of the Pyrenean gravel soils of the Domaine, where aromatic purity, balance, and natural concentration rival the precision of textures and flavors. This Cuvée is produced for the greatest vintages.

The dense and tannic structure of this wine will blend together to offer you a precise, ample, balanced, and refined cellar-worthy wine. This wine, which expresses itself in its youth with finesse, elegance, and a spicy side, will evolve over time towards the mentholated minerality that characterizes this great terroir of the Médoc.

Tasting notes

Endowed with rich and velvety tannins that envelop a firm, fresh, and precise texture, the structure of this wine is rich and dense with touches of fresh thyme, black pepper, and camphor. The lively and fruity finish is underlined by notes of incense, which, as in St Julien, often seem to define the great terroirs of Agassac.
